Step 1: Contact Me

If you are interested in commissioning an original piece, the first step is to email me! Send me any initial ideas or questions  you have, and we can start working together from there.

Step 2: Customize 

Here are some of the details to think about, but don't worry if you don't know exactly what you want to order right away. I am happy to talk through these different options with you to help you figure out what you want.

• Media choices include: Ink, Graphite, Charcoal, Pastel, Mixed Media, Watercolor, Acrylic

​

• Drawing surfaces include: Canvas, Canvas Panel, Card stock, Glass, Paper, and Wood [Framing is also an option]

​

• Size & Style: Virtually any size can work and I will ask you if you have any style preferences (Ex: maybe you want black & white or lots of color or a color scheme that would match well with a particular wall color in your home, etc.)

Step 3: Pricing 

Price depends on many factors, so I can provide a quote once I have an idea of what you are looking for.

 

Factors considered in setting a price include: Cost of materials, size of piece, and complexity/time involved.

 

Note: 5% of all proceeds will go to a charity of your choice (of 3 charities to choose from)-This is not an extra cost, but rather is taken from the cost of the work. 

 

Delivery Method: If you are in the Richmond, VA area, I am happy to arrange a COVID-19 safe drop off/pick up of your finished work, depending on location. The alternative is for me to ship your piece to you. I am happy to do this, but shipping costs will be charged to the client.

Along with your quote, I will give you a time estimate as to when your piece will be ready.

Step 4: Enjoy your piece.

Feel free to give me feedback or request edits/alterations if needed. [For example, if you find out a different blue would complement the wall where the art will hang, I can accommodate reasonable requests]

 

Gift wrapping and framing options are also available.

Payment Information

-Payment can be made upon completion of the piece. However, a down payment for materials may be requested if costly. (For large pieces, unique types of canvas, or mural commissions that involve painting an entire room, I may request a down payment to cover the cost of purchasing the materials) 

 

-Accepted Methods of Payment include: Paypal, Venmo, Cash App, Check, or Cash

 

-Select which charity you would like 5% of your proceeds to go to. This is not an added cost. You can view more information about the charities here:
